Judges 7:3 – Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
Meditation – There’s a certain comfort in crowds. We believe we’re safe and secure, can roam in anonymity, and are collectivity correct. Why? Because, somehow there’s strength in numbers. Not really. There’s only strength in the number when the Lord anoints it to do his work. 1 or 10 or 10,000; it doesn’t matter. The real question is who’s fearful and afraid? The Lord can’t use those people. He can’t use those who hide in the crowd, especially when you’ve been called to stand out. Stop hiding and Let your light shine so others can see the way.
