Matthew 20:31-34 – And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
Meditation – you cannot allow the crowd to dictate whether or not you will seek the Lord. Friends, family, neighbors and the like sometimes feel as though they know what is best for you; they probably don’t. They certainly don’t have the ability to provide you with the healing you desire. To take your cues from them over The Lord is to tell Him that you are ok with continuing in blindness. Ignore the crowd; cry out for the Lord even more. He gives vision to those who ask for it. Seek Him first and find healing.
