1 Peter 4:10 (ESV) – As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
We have to be able to see it. Before it can be applied, before it can be used to minister to others, we must have within us the capacity to, on a most basic level, see all the ways we can use our gift. It’s a matter of confidence, even if we lack a true understanding of it. As disciples, before we can go out and live in the abundance, There must be an examination of the gift and the ministry that comprise our anointing. How, these things aren’t simply a work of happenstance, but rather the building blocks upon which the Lord directs his purpose in our life. And, it’s essential we see it; otherwise, we could waste too much time seeking a singular passion or purpose. In this, we must be able to see every single thing we could do with our gift and how those things might turn into incredible successes with the proper commitment. We have a gift and a calling; we just have to be able to see it.
