Take The Umbrella With You

James 5:17-18 – Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Meditation – have we grown to understand and accept the divine power of prayer to change any and every circumstance in our life? Or, do we simply count it as coincidence that others around us pray and things happen to and for them? Realizing that our spoken words mean nothing if not ennobled by our faith is the first step in advancing in our prayer life. Simply put – if you pray for rain, take an umbrella with you. The same power to change life that we read about in the bible is present today; The Lord hasn’t changed; Therefore, we need to. More Faith. Ask because we believe. Fervent and effectual.
