Galatians 6:1 - Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Learn humility. And, discipline. Take the time and do the work required to gain a fluid understanding of the rules of engagement. Because, our weapon in the hands of someone with no tact, and no skill, and who lacks a basic spirit of compassion can cause self-inflicted wounds. And, the aftermath can be many things; frustration, disappointment, a reconsideration of our current stance; but, at no point can it be an opportunity to point the finger of blame at anyone else but self. These cuts can do serious damage; but, that is the price we pay when we wield weapons we haven’t yet learned to properly use. And, there’s maybe nothing worse than setting out to correct someone only to have that person skillfully use our weapon against us. spiritual warfare has many levels; know your strengths and stay up.
