Psalms 40:1 – I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
Meditation – You’re waiting. And, you see people in places you feel you belong; You see friend after friend walk the aisle while you’ve yet to meet your good thing; you look in the mirror and face the sobering reality that the thing you most desire may never come. You’re working. You’re a committed servant. Your faith is based in works. Your prayer life is strong. And yet, here you are; waiting. It’s often tough to wait; its tougher to regret the things we settle for when we refuse to. Waiting patiently is part of the growth process. He’ll bless us according to what He sees we are prepared to receive. So, how long are you really willing to patiently wait?
