Ecclesiastes 7:8 – Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Meditation – In life, we must practice patience. We must have a mind that will work through to completion. Often times, we fail due to our desire to have everything we want right now. The job needs to be perfect today; the relationship must have the feel of a 30-year bond from day 1. The people we meet must captivate us immediately or else we move on. We rely on our feelings rather than strength of thought. It’s a trap of Satan; making us a prisoner of the moment, not focused in on any particular long-term ramifications. Interesting though, that perhaps the strongest narrative in the new testament speaks to harvesting. Anything that will be great requires our full effort and attention. The strength of the garden lies in the way we cultivate it. Good things take time.
