1 Corinthians 13:4 (ESV) – Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant.
Sometimes, we have to allow situations to fully play out. We have to stop insisting that things go according to our timeframe and instead sit back, practice humility, and know that The Lord is working on us through what is happening around us. In this, We have to be mature enough not to interfere with what the Lord is doing. This perfect love we desire is based on our ability to endure, realizing that if we are going to have the very best things, there will be long days, and moments where giving up appears to be a viable option. As disciples, our spirit of patience grows along with our commitment. We said we’d go all the way; as a test of our faith, we must show proof that we are willing to suffer long for the things we say we desire.
