Genesis 12:1-2 – Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.
Meditation – Why so comfortable? Is it because we believe we’ve arrived? Or, because we think this is as good as we can expect to do or have? The comfort zone is where we tell ourselves that our standing stagnant is really us waiting on the Lord. It’s where we often lose sight of our mission because we become accustomed to the way life is today and never envision how it could be. it requires a great deal of faith to escape our comfort zone. We have to be able to see the fuller picture, how The Lord is not only trying to bless us, but also use us to bless others. A new country, a new work, a new opportunity awaits; but, it’s outside of your current comfort zone. Break free.
