Psalms 6:2-4 – Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long? Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.
Meditation – Our healing begins at the point where we are honest enough to admit we need healing. It begins at the place where we no longer seek validation from the outside world, but rather, justification through the savior. The cares of this world can burden the spirit of man so deeply; and yet, this facade of constant happiness keeps us mired in a constant state of sleepless nights and aimless days. When we’re honest, and stand before The Lord and say, “Lord, Save Me from Me” with a genuine and submissive heart, our entire life can then begin changing.
