Acts 1:7 (ESV) – He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.”
Meditation – Patience is a virtue. One many ask for, aspire to possess, to exemplify. However oftentimes we pray for virtues but don’t want to accept the journey on the road that leads us there. We want the crown but do not want to carry the cross. The blessing is in the breaking. So be willing to be broken for just a little while so that the Master can do his work. Our incessant prayer should be “Lord have thine own way” for He is the Potter and we are the clay. Nothing happens before it is supposed to and remember He will not fill your cup to runneth over if you are too focused on the manner and timing in which he fills it. Lean not on your own.
