Luke 6:36-38 (NKJV) – Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
Meditation – Be genuine. If we lack mercy and grace, are unwilling to give of self, and are far too often inclined to judge others and withhold forgiveness, then it’s time to change. Growth involves realizing that most of the issues in our life are simply “me” problems; the things we clearly see but are unwilling to acknowledge and change. We won’t just wake up one day and possess these great qualities; we must work towards them daily. Change is a process. Ultimately, we’re gonna get what we give; so, give the best. Always.
