Be Quiet; And, Listen

James 1:19-20 – Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Meditation – sometimes, we just have to be quiet. We have to fight this undying urge to respond immediately to everything that is said and simply take the time to listen. It’s a rather common issue with us as people; we always have a response, but are never able to give a true and legitimate answer. Until we learn to humble ourselves and actually listen, we will continue to miss out on what The Lord is trying to show and tell us. Our growth depends on our ability to apply the lessons we learn; we can’t learn anything if all we ever do is talk. Learn to Listen.
